How to do it: Solution to attach files in Gmail

At present, I have been received a lot of emails about one Trouble in Gmail "same for Google Apps", where they can attach files correctly. So that was the reason to give me some time to investigate the problem and get one solution "for attach files without trouble in Gmail".

2. TROUBLE: I CAN NOT ATTACK FILES IN GMAIL:


Despite all the improvements and new design for the new Gmail, it has been submitted a big problem (bug), when you wanna attaching files in your gmail. During the investigation it was also consider the possibility of some incompatibility error with some browsers or even with the operating systems, because it was not normal for why they could not attach files; are: images, documents, presentations, etc.

Initially, the problem was an error exclusive for Mac (Apple), but also was detected in Windows (Microsoft) too, so that the OS was not a determinant of the problem, to turn individual tests were conducted in the majority of browsers: Firefox Chrome and Internet Explorer in several versions, but in the same way the problem was still present, even though in some cases we could attach files.

Faced in this scenario, we decided to try different process to attach files, we were tested more than 15 ways to be able to attach files, and here we share some solutions.

SOLUTION #1:

The easiest way would be to upload the files that you want to share by a cloud hosting service.

- Log in you Gmail account
- Upload your file by (mega, mediafire, rapidshare, google docs, etc)
- Copy the link offer for the cloud hosting system
- Send the email
- That is all!.

NOTE: There some email services, that do not accept links for cloud hosting.

SOLUTION #2:

There is an advanced option that many users do not know about it, where you can set up for attach files (there 2 ways): Advanced Features, and basic functions.

¿WHAT IS ADVANCED AND BASIC FEATURES?:

*Advanced features to attach files - You can attach a lot of files at once meanwhile you observe the progress in the status bars. Requires Flash.

*Basic functions to attach files - Attached files one at a time without display progress bars.

- Log in you Gmail account
- Configuration option
- In the last list, you can find Attach File section:
- choose Basic functions to attach files,
- That is all!.

IMPORTANT: Once you have made the settings you must log out.

ACTUALIZADO: MARZO 2013

In spite of the fact that many users were able to solve the problem to attach files in gmail with the solution #2, I have even received some emails commenting that had not succeeded in resolving the trouble. That is why we are sharing a new solution that comes hand in hand with a new update for Gmail.

SOLUTION #3:

NEW SYSTEM TO COMPOSING EMAILS

This month Google has release a new system of composing emails in Gmail, which is much simpler than the previous version but at the same time much more comfortable, and this version includes a new option to attach files.



With this new version, we can attach files by file types:

- File
- File by Google Drive
- Photo
- Links
- Emoticons
- Invitations

IMPORTANT: If you have previously solved the problem, you can bypass this update to the system of sending. Although remember, this will be the default system later.

SOLUTION #4:

In addition to the solution #3, We want to share some points to consider to help you with this problem.

INCOMPATIBILITY WITH YOUR OS:

in spite of the fact that the problem is to solve for many users, even there is a group of users who can not yet get a solution to this issue. For that reason, we found throughout in this research, which can be the factors that prevent attach files in Gmail.

- Windows XP o Vista (Update your PC to Windows 7, 8 o superior)

SOLUTION #5:

JUST DRAG THE FILE

Yeah, as you reas the tittle, just drag the file:

- Copt the file (that you want to send) to the desktop (size 5Mb maximun),
- Drag the file in your email, and
- That is all!

POST IT: It works perfectly.
